DeleteI was finally able to check this on the CD and unfortunately the click occurs there too. It could be only on my CD (although I can't observe any physical damage) or it could be the pressing. Perhaps someone else can report on this?
DeleteMost probably the CD pressing is bad (manufacturing fault). Happily the bad samples can be repaired with CueTools. See Susato Tips & Tricks, "Repair your rips with CUETools". During the repair procedure, when asked "Select the best match", select preferably the variant "differs in 872 samples ..." in order to generate a perfect copy. Alternatively you can choose the "966 samples" variant which is nearly perfect.
